Armistice Day 2010
A poppy was laid at the site of the plane crash on Gallow Hill today at 11am. The poppy was attached to the memorial to Flt. Sgt. Kenneth G Mayne who was killed on 23 June 1945 when his Mk.1 Anson aircraft crashed in poor visibility.
Over the last ten years we have been gathering historical information about Glenogilvy and the surrounding area. We are now n a position to put this information on our web site.
